The first significant patch to Tribes: Ascend since the Closed Beta began arrives tomorrow, Thursday, November 10.
Server downtime: The Tribes Closed Beta Servers are expected to be down on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2011 from ~9:00 AM to ~2:00 PM US Eastern (14:00 to 19:00 GMT) while the patch is deployed.
What’s in it?
New maps have been added to the Rabbit Rotation (Drydock Night Map) and the CTF Rotation (Drydock Day Map). In addition:
- The speed cap has been removed and various falling, skiing and jetpack physics changes have been implemented, including modifications to Skills.
- Various server stability improvements
- Various UI cleanups and improvements
- LOTS of bug fixes
